As a system administrator, you are familiar with both hardware, software and infrastructure so that your colleagues and customers can carry out their tasks. You see it as your most important task to ensure that all systems are up to date, optimally functioning and secured. You help colleagues, answer questions and carry out your daily tasks energetically and positively. You are responsible for hosting applications and participate in internal IT projects. The diverse products make the position challenging and varied.

Other responsibilities will be:
- Pro-active approach to items related to the different domain responsibilities
- Thinking on releasing software to our production environment
- Setting up and maintaining Azure Landing Zones
- Keeping the (Virtual) Servers up to date
- Translating structural problems into improvement proposals
- Monitoring the IT environment and resolving disruptions
- Assist in handling P1 incidents with a proactive attitude
- Maintaining and improving security (Availability, Back-Up, Access Management, ..)
- Being part of the consignment service shift once every few weeks
Your skills
You have At least 5 years’ experience from a technical IT job. You are a teamplayer and you have a technical IT background. The following statements could be written about you:
- Knowledge of and experience with IT infrastructure (VMware, Azure, Windows, terminal server, network, monitoring, security, storage and backup)
- Experience with SQL and Scripting
- Knowledge of PowerShell is an advantage
- You are a team player who is also able to work independently
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with different teams and colleagues across our offices.
Our offering
The DevOps team consist out of 4 System Administrators, 2 Software Developers, a Business Analyst, a Database Administrator and a TeamLead with the extra role Security Officer. We are mainly located within the Apeldoorn office, but also have a System Administrator in Hedensted.
So we are looking for someone located in the Netherlands or in Denmark.
The DevOps team is part of the Innovations department of AgroVision, consisting of about 60 colleagues, working from Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.
