Your profile

As a system administrator, you are familiar with both hardware, software and infrastructure so that your colleagues and customers can carry out their tasks. You see it as your most important task to ensure that all systems are up to date, optimally functioning and secured. You help colleagues, answer questions and carry out your daily tasks energetically and positively. You are responsible for hosting applications and participate in internal IT projects. The diverse products make the position challenging and varied.

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring the IT environment and resolving disruptions
  • Assist in handling P1 incidents with a proactive attitude
• Maintaining and improving security (Availability, Back-Up, Access Management, ..)
  • (Pro-)active monitoring tools like Microsoft Defender and act accordingly
• Address basic user issues
  • Assist colleagues, both on location as in international setup
  • Managing workplace operations (printers, laptop, desk setup,.. )
• Pro-active approach to items related to the different domain responsibilities
  • Thinking on releasing software to our production environment
  • Setting up and maintaining Azure Landing Zones
  • Keeping the (Virtual) Servers up to date
• Translating structural problems into improvement proposals
• Being part of the consignment service shift once every few weeks

Competences

• Technical IT professional background
• At least 5 years’ experience from a technical IT job
• Experience in similar role in an ISO27001 environment is preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Defender and Security Portal
• Knowledge of and experience with IT infrastructure (VMware, Azure, Windows, terminal server, network, monitoring, security, storage and backup)
• Experience with SQL and Scripting
• Knowledge of PowerShell is an advantage
• You are a team player who is also able to work independently
• English skills at a high level

• We offer a role that is predominantly office-based to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Remote work options are available, subject to team lead approval.

The team

The DevOps team consist out of 4 System Administrators, 1 Software Developer, a Business Analyst, a Database Administrator and a Team Lead with the extra role Security Officer. We are mainly located within the Apeldoorn office and also have a System Administrator in Hedensted.
