Safety first – This is how AgroVision protects your data
Data security has become an increasingly crucial topic in software, given the rise in cyber threats and data breaches over the years. At AgroVision, we understand that safeguarding the privacy of your data is more important than ever.
AgroVision places a high value on ensuring the security of your data. But how exactly do we achieve this? We strive to adhere strictly to the following principles.
Confidentiality
Our primary focus in managing all data is confidentiality. This means that only you and parties authorized by you have access to your information. If, for example, you want your advisor to have a look, you must explicitly grant permission and authorize the specific party to view your data. Failure to do so ensures that your data remains confidential. We are actively updating the MyAgroVision platform to provide extensive options for sharing access, allowing you to revoke access at any time.
Additionally, we host our data with reputable international companies with years of experience, with a commitment to working exclusively within Europe.
Integrity
Integrity is our second key focus in data security. We ensure that your information remains accurate. When exchanging information, such as with a robot or machine, we validate all data for accuracy and completeness before it is incorporated into your records. Data integrity revolves around preserving and protecting the accuracy and consistency of managed data, ensuring precise, complete, and intact records.
Availability
The last but certainly not least important focus is ‘availability.’ We ensure that you can access your data anytime, anywhere. This guarantees that you, as a user, can always access reliable and up-to-date information when making decisions or performing tasks.
To ensure availability, we regularly implement security updates, create backups at various locations, and conduct regular disaster scenario drills. These drills cover a range of possible scenarios, from fires to ransomware attacks, with prepared action plans to quickly resume our services. We call this our disaster recovery plan. Annually, we test one of these scenarios to ensure that even in the worst-case scenarios, we are back online within a day.
For automatic installation of the latest updates on your software, consider using the AgroVision cloud environment, where we make this possible. We also ensure that the cloud environment automatically creates backups at different locations.
